Nestled in the rolling hills of the natural reserve Brohmer and Helpter Berge sits the baroque estate Gut Neuensund dating back to 1780. Just 1.5 hours from Berlin, this is a place of absolute tranquility, historic buildings, a beautiful swimming lake, and unspoiled nature. You’ll stay in the 450 sqm former inspector’s house, part of a U-shaped baroque estate that encloses a 4,500 sqm inner courtyard and stretches across 8 hectares of land. An apartment for 2 persons can be booked separately. The space In the former Inspector’s House of Gut Neuensund, you will find eight bedrooms with a total of 13 beds, accommodating up to 18 guests. If needed, three additional single beds can be added (25€ per bed total to be paid on site). An neighbouring apartment for 2 guests can be booked separately through Airbnb. You will share three bathrooms – towels, bed linen, and basic toiletries are, of course, provided. Each room is equipped with a traditional tiled stove, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere on cooler days. The house features a spacious, fully equipped country kitchen with a long dining table for up to 24 people, as well as a comfortable reading corner with a small library, armchairs, and a sofa. Two terraces – one in front of the house and one in the guest garden behind the Inspector’s House – along with the garden itself, are for your exclusive use. Right next to the house, there is also an outdoor sauna, which can be used for an additional fee of €15 per hour (minimum 2 hours). Breakfast or catering can be arranged upon request. A contact person is on site and available at any time if needed. Dogs are welcome for a fee of €20 per stay; please register them in advance. Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the property and are not allowed on beds or sofas. The eight-hectare grounds of the baroque estate are open for you to explore: a 4,500 m² courtyard with various seating areas, the enchanted Lenné park behind the manor house, as well as a barbecue area and a fire pit with wood and charcoal provided on site. For events, seminars, retreats, or off-sites, the historic granary (Kornspeicher) can be rented. It accommodates up to 150 people but is equally suitable for smaller groups and more intimate use. In addition, our cozy “Alte Schmiede” can be booked for groups of up to 25 people. Just 1.2 km away lies Lake Schmiedgrund, a शांत and secluded swimming lake with a small jetty. Walking trails start directly from the estate and lead through a protected nature reserve. The area also offers excellent opportunities for birdwatching. Nearby destinations such as the Szczecin Lagoon or the town of Ueckermünde can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. Gut Neuensund is located within a nature reserve at the northern edge of the Uckermark. From Berlin, you can reach us in approximately 1.5 hours via the A20 motorway (exit Strasburg). The estate is also easily accessible by train: high-speed trains (ICE) stop in Pasewalk (25 minutes away), and regional trains in Jatznick (15 minutes away). A shuttle service can be arranged from both stations upon request. Gut Neuensund is a place for rest, retreat, and nature — and above all, for space. Other things to note High-speed internet is available via fiber-optic connection. Parking is free of charge. Dogs are welcome for a fee of €20 per stay but must be kept on a leash while on the property.
