The cabin is located in Vatnedalen, one of the best areas on Gausta. Gausta has become a tourist magnet in summer and winter. Fully equipped cabin with 4 bedrooms, good and large beds and space for up to 12 people. Barbecue hut with seating for up to 12. SELF-CATERING, some services are included. Self check-in with code for the gate and key cabinet. The space Nice and quiet, that's the area where our cabin is located. No construction noise, no noise, green areas around. The cabin is located southwest facing at the innermost part of Vatnedalen, in one of the sunniest areas on Gausta. No wonder we call our cabin Relaxia :) Gaustablikk Mountain Resort and the popular Den Lykkelige Sportsmann Guesthouse with après-ski and food/drinks are located along Kvitåvatnvegen. At Gaustablikk ski resort there is also après-ski and restaurant, ski rental and Sport1 shop as well as the grocery store Pose & Sekk. Below Gaustatoppen Nature Park on the other side of Kvitåvatn and the alpine facility is Bygget which offers food and après-ski. It takes about 15 minutes to drive down to Rjukan, where there are several grocery stores such as Kiwi and Rema 1000, Vinmonopol, the very popular Rjukan swimming pool, restaurants and shops. The Tungtvannskjelleren, the site of one of World War II's most famous sabotage actions, is located at Vemork, a short half-hour drive away. You can also find the Industrial Workers' Museum there. Guest access Guests can use all rooms except the one bedroom on the 1st floor which is locked.
