The space The Property – The Clarence A tranquil retreat on the banks of the Clarence River perfectly north facing to capture stunning light and river views. Surrounded by lush bushland, native wildlife, and towering trees, The Clarence is an off-grid, eco-friendly sanctuary offering an unforgettable escape from city life. Perfect for families, groups, couples, and pet-friendly stays, it combines nature, comfort, and sustainable living. When you book The Clarence, you will enjoy exclusive access to the entire property. We can accommodate up to 18 guests in the following accommodation: * The Main House with large deck overlooking the Clarence River * A Studio * Up to 5 bell tents The Main House: 1 Bedroom: King bed, TV, ceiling fan. Sleeps 2. Kitchen: Equipped with all essentials and a Nespresso machine. Solar-powered living means no oven or stovetop, but the premium BBQ on the deck outside doubles as an oven and cooktop. Deck & Dining: Spacious timber deck with BBQ, lounge seating, and European Oak & steel outdoor dining table flowing from the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Indoor Comfort: Relax on the couch by the cosy wood-fired heater or lose yourself in a good book. The Studio: Beds: 1 Queen bed, 1 King Single bed with pull-out trundle and ceiling fan. Sleeps 4. Bell Tents: Main Bell Tent: 2 Queen mattresses. Sleeps 4. Additional 4 Bell Tents: 2 tents with 1 Queen mattress each and 2 tents with 2 Singles each. Sleeps 8. Our beds are beautifully styled with luxurious linen, ensuring 5-star comfort in the middle of the bush. Bathroom: Modern, with rainwater shower (hot and cold) and environmentally friendly compost toilet. Pet Policy: We welcome up to 2 furry family members 🐾 A pet fee of $100 per stay applies to cover extra cleaning and wear. This fee will be requested separately after booking. Please inform us in advance if you will be bringing pets.
