This is a normal part of life in the desert, we do not offer any discounts/cancellation if you find a bug , welcome to Alice Springs the Australia Desert 🙂 ⸻ House Rules No Parties or Gatherings No parties, events, or gatherings of any kind are permitted at any time. Only guests listed on the reservation may be on the property. Visitors are not permitted without prior written approval. Any unauthorised or additional guests found at the property will incur a charge of $30 per person, per night, and may result in immediate cancellation of the booking without refund. Quiet Hours Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Please respect our neighbours. Excessive noise at any time is not permitted. Maximum Occupancy The number of guests must not exceed the number confirmed in the booking. This includes children and infants unless otherwise approved. No Pets No pets are allowed on the property at any time. This includes visiting pets. Any evidence of pets on the premises will result in additional cleaning and/or damage fees. No Smoking or Vaping Indoors Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the house. Any evidence of indoor smoking will result in an additional cleaning fee. Parking – No Parking on Grass Please park only in designated parking areas. Parking on lawns or garden areas is strictly prohibited. Any damage to turf, irrigation, or landscaping caused by vehicles will be charged to the guest. Irrigation & Garden Taps – Do Not Touch Guests must not touch, disconnect, adjust, or use any irrigation systems, garden hoses, or garden taps, particularly those located at the front of the property. These hoses and taps are part of an automated irrigation system. Any damage caused by tampering may result in costly repairs, technician call-out fees, and full replacement costs being charged. Pool Equipment – Strictly Do Not Touch Guests must not touch, adjust, backwash, or operate any pool equipment at any time. This includes the pump, filter, valves, timer, chlorinator, or any hoses connected to the system. Tampering may result in immediate cancellation, technician call-out fees, and full repair or replacement costs. Pool Water Level (Longer Stays) For stays longer than two (2) nights, and where the pool is being used, guests are kindly asked to top up the pool water level using the pool garden tap. The tap is on a timer and must be set to 2 hours only. Please do not adjust the timer or leave the tap running beyond this timeframe. No Glass in Pool Area No glass of any kind is permitted within the fenced pool area. This includes bottles, glasses, plates, and drinkware. If glass is found in or around the pool, the pool may need to be drained and professionally cleaned due to safety risks. All associated costs will be charged to the guest. Pool Safety Children must be supervised at all times. No running, rough play, or diving unless clearly marked as safe. Pool use is at the guest’s own risk. Front Gate & Property Fence – Must Remain Shut For the safety of all guests and children, the front gate and property fence must remain shut at all times. As the property is located in Alice Springs, this is an essential safety requirement. Please ensure the gate is closed immediately after entering or exiting the property. ⸻ Linen, Towels & Cleaning – Important Guests are welcome to use the washing machine for longer stays if needed. At check-out: • Do not leave any washed or wet linen or towels in the washing machine • Do not leave towels or linen soaking or wet anywhere on the property All linen and towels must be left in the same condition as found, for our professional cleaners. Any linen left wet at check-out may result in additional cleaning or replacement charges, which will be passed on to the guest. Please do not unmake beds or attempt to wash or dry linen at check-out. Our cleaners follow a strict checklist to ensure nothing is missing, stained, or damaged. ⸻ Care of the Property Please treat the home and furnishings with care. Any damage, breakages, or missing items must be reported immediately and may be charged. Security & Safety Systems Do not tamper with any security devices, safety systems, or equipment. Tampering may result in immediate cancellation and associated charges. Check-In & Check-Out Check-in and check-out times must be adhered to unless prior approval is given. Any early check-in or late check-out exceeding 15 minutes will incur a fee of $60 per hour, as this directly impacts our cleaning schedule. Security Cameras: 2 Outdoor security cameras are in place for safety. Do not tamper with cameras or pool equipment. Leave It as You Found It: Guests are expected to clean up after themselves—wash dishes, dispose of rubbish, and please leave all furniture in its original place. Failure to follow house rules may result in an immediate termination of the reservation.
