Relax in this peaceful spot in the middle of the rural landscape. The garden with grass and paths invites you to enjoy the horizon in changing light, and the good food you have prepared - for example on the grill. Here is also a nice setting for writing - or for holding a work meeting for a few people. The location is ideal for exploring Lolland by car (public transport is limited in the area). The space The interior of the house is personal and simple, mainly furbished with natural materials in warm colors. From inside you can enjoy many beautiful light and a view of the greenery. In the garden there are mirabelles, gooseberries, blackcurrants, currants and apples, and you are welcome to pick and eat - or to pickle. Here there are larks, starlings and songbirds - ravens and birds of prey regularly come by. From the garden you have a wide view to the South, West and North where hares and deer roam. The property is located a short distance from two large forest areas; Christianssæde Forest and Søllested Forest. You are also located within cycling distance of the sea, small harbors and ferries to the fruit growing islands in the North; Fejø, Askø, Femø. Great car excursions can go to the Fuglsang art museum at Guldborgsund, to Heike Arndt's gallery in Kettinge - or if you are in the company of children, to Knuthenborg Safari Park. If you want to explore a bit of everything you will need a car as public transport on the Island is limited. Guest access You have the property to yourself. Other things to note In the house you will find chess, abelone, backgammon, bezzerwizzer, mikado, kalaha, set, playing cards, yatzy and a simple puzzle with 1000 pieces. There is a speaker with bluetooth, and a TV screen for streaming or casting. There is also an acoustic guitar you can play on. Firewood for use in the wood-burning stove or campfire is available at a good price. We would like to inform you that we have recently taken over the property. Much is therefore under development, but we are now at a place in the process where we would rent it ourselves if we could ☺️
