Cosy Boutique Village Retreat

We offer guests 2 double bedrooms , 1 single bedroom and a private guest bathroom. A large private dining room has continental breakfast, fruit, hot drinks, kettle, toaster, microwave , fresh milk & fridge . There is a wrap around terrace for guest use with chairs . We only host 1 guest party at a time , there is driveway parking for 2 vehicles & a private guest front door entrance with a large hallway . We have pets who do not infringe on guest areas . The Sun pub is a short walk away . The space Balwmacara is located 5 minutes drive from Junction 41 of the M6 and on the Coast to Coast cycle and walking route . It is a cosy and warm recently renovated 4 bedroomed spacious home that offers ample private sleeping, bathing, relaxing and dining areas for guests to enjoy as well as a quiet large patio which gets a lot of sun . We supply towels and extra pillows and blankets. Our home is at the end of a quiet lane with lovely field walks and views on the doorstep. Guest access Guests will be given a key upon check in and have access to a large kitchen cupboard and fridge shelf, spacious dining room and it's seating area to relax and dine in if wished. Also a patio at the front of the dining room can be used with chairs provided. Upstairs there is 1 double bedroom and a single bedroom if required and a private bathroom next to the bedrooms. During your stay We are mostly at home so available if you have any questions or queries . Alternatively, you can call Paul on his mobile. Other things to note We supply hot drinks that you can make and enjoy in either your bedroom or the dining room and have 3 friendly dogs and a cat so request that you be okay with them . The pets do not infringe on the guest living spaces but may come up to you to say hello and for a bit of fuss ! :) Janine is a Nurse Practitioner who works remotely and is on hand for any health advice if required. The Sun Inn is an easy 5 - 10 minute walk away in the heart of the village .It has a shop that sells local produce . The pub is popular and welcoming, serves lovely food and shows Sky Sports . Booking is recommended for food. Penrith is a quaint town less than 10 minutes drive away and has many pubs, shops, restaurants, supermarkets and a weekly market with plenty of free disc parking. Pooley Bridge/Ullswater is a 15 minute drive away , Keswick is a 25 minutes away and there are many local attractions and walks in the Penrith area , Lake District and nearby Pennines . There is a wooden box with details of places to go and things to do in your bedroom.
