This home was built in 1883 and has stunning woodwork that has been immaculately maintained for nearly 150 years. Full breakfast is included for all weekend stays, and continental breakfasts are included Monday through Friday. Breakfast is typically served, family style, at 9:00am. Our guest rooms are: *Heritage Room (queen bed, en suite bath, 1st floor) *Garden Room (queen bed, en suite bath, 2nd floor) *Meadow Room (queen bed, washing up sink, semi-private bath a few steps down the hall, 2nd floor) *Sunrise Room (2 XL Twin beds, semi-private bath down the hall, 2nd floor) Guest access Guests are welcome to use any common areas including the dining room, piano room, sitting room/TV room, sun porch and backyard. (Your host is a musician and would love to sing and/or play the piano for you, and would be especially happy if you brought your own instrument and would like to make some music.) During your stay Your hosts stay on site, but it is up to you whether or how much you wish to interact. Other things to note *With the exception of our Heritage Room, all guest rooms are on the 2nd floor. There are 6 steps up to enter the house. You may park in the driveway or on the street. Cherry Bear Bed and Breakfast's front door welcomes you into the elegant but cozy living room. After a quick tour of the tastefully furnished public spaces - sun room, dining room and music room (featuring a 1931 Knabe grand piano) - by your hosts, and a confirmation of breakfast time, you will be shown to your room. After that, it is entirely up to you whether and how much you wish to interact with your hosts, or be left to yourselves. You will have a key to your room, your own code to the front door, and complete freedom to come and go as you wish.
