Explore Colorado Springs or Denver w/ access to i25 just 5 minutes away The space BATHROOM We have a hairdryer, 3 extra rolls of toilet paper, essentials, and cleaning supplies for the bathroom under the bathroom sink. Please use the black Make-up facial towels for your face and not the white or yellow towels. While we do have Lysol/Clorox wipes and baby wipes for your convenience, please do not flush them down the toilet. That will clog the toilets and cause them to overflow. FOR KIDS We have plenty of toys, books, a highchair, a booster chair, bassinet, tricycle, and first 4 wheel bike in the closet below the stairs. We have a rip stik, small kid's bike and a slightly larger kid's bike in our garage if you'd like to borrow these items. Also, we have a WEALTH of crafting and coloring supplies, and kids games in our garage. Please let us know if you would like access to these items for your kids. We would be happy to accommodate! COOKING We have several spices and condiments on hand. We know it's a pain to have to buy a whole new package of these things to cook with during a very short stay and then have to leave the majority of it behind. If you don't see it in the kitchen, please message us, and we'd be happy to supply it for your convenience. We may already have it, or we should add it to the Airbnb for you and future guests. So please help us improve this Airbnb by letting us know what you need. INDUCTION BURNERS We have two induction burners. You can ONLY USE ONE to cook or boil water at a time. One burner can be used to keep food warm while cooking on the other burner. COOKING/GRILLING OUTSIDE We have a butane two-burner stove and grill on the patio. Do NOT bring the outside butane stove inside. It is not safe to cook with the butane stove indoors. We have a replacement propane and butane tanks in the storage bin outside. If you would like help replacing any of them, please let us know. HEATERS We have one heater in the bedroom next to the bathroom and another for the Living room/Kitchen area. You can not run both heaters in both bedrooms at the same time. You CAN run one heater in the living room and the other in one of the bedrooms at the same time. You must turn off the heaters when using the kitchen appliances, dryer, and hair dryer. You can only use one high-powered cooking appliance at a time. Having too many electrical appliances running on electricity at the same time will trip the breaker. FIRE PIT We have a propane fire pit on the patio. If it runs out of propane, please let us know. We have a replacement on hand for your use. If you would like help replacing it, please send us a message. We have marshmallows, roasting sticks, chocolate, and graham crackers in the pantry. UPSTAIRS DECK The upstairs deck is a shared space. You may use it any time you like. MAIN KITCHEN We understand that you may want or need to use a full kitchen with an oven and 4-burner gas stove. We'd be happy to accommodate if we can. Just let us know so we can make the appropriate arrangements. EMERGENCY STUFF We have a First-Aid kit, fire extinguisher, batteries, and flashlights in the food pantry. Guest access DOOR CODE: Last 4 of your phone number PARKING Please park to the far right on the driveway in front of the 3rd and smallest garage bay. An extra car may find street parking as long as you are not blocking any neighbor's driveways. If you are renting just a room and not the whole basement, that 3rd parking space is up for grabs between you and the other guest. PATH TO THE ENTRANCE OF THE APARTMENT A lit, paved, concrete path will be to the right of the home in front of where you parked. The path slants downward. Also, there are 3 spaced-out and well-marked steps as you are going down. KEYLESS ENTRANCE This basement apartment has a separate keyless entrance through the back door. Your code will be the last 4 digits of your phone number. The door will automatically lock after a couple of minutes. During your stay Guest are welcome to knocknon our door anytime or message us through the Airbnb app. If you are renting just a room, I will be in the basement apartment daily to keep the shared spaces clean. Other things to note In case of emergencies or if you need help immediately especially between 8 pm and 5 am, call Jonathan's number twice. Response times are usually within an hour. It may be a little slower Saturay mornings. This is a VERY family-friendly home! Victoria is a stay-at-home mom but also manages and cleans two other rentals. Jonathan works from home and helps manage the Airbnbs. Liahona (8 years old) is homeschooled and also helps clean the Airbnbs. Mason (20 years old) works full-time as an autobody tech at a shop during the week but stays home on the weekends. He's a gaming enthusiast. Liahona is VERY extroverted and LOVES to meet new kids of any age. We love to play board games. And we are happy to babysit if the adults want to get away for a bit. Victoria is usually up between 3:30 and 4:30 am. So please don't feel like you a burdening us if you want to message us in the early hours. Our family typically goes to bed around 8:30 pm. But if you need something after we've gone to bed, please call Jonathan twice. We want to make sure you have an AMAZING stay!
