Høvringen: location/view!

Family cabin on Høvringen with fantastic views of both Rondane and Jotunheimen! The cabin is located at 980 meters above sea level and borders Rondane National Park. It provides a great starting point for mountain hikes, fishing trips, berry and mushroom picking, bike rides, skiing or hiking for the little ones - whatever you want! Trails and ski slopes run right outside the cabin. A small river flows about 50 meters from the cabin which provides opportunities for both swimming and play. Local grocery store and café are normally open. IMPORTANT! There is no winter road! The space The cabin has two bedrooms on the 1st floor and a loft on the 2nd floor. One bedroom has a double bed (160*200). The other has a bunk bed (90*190). On the loft there are two separate beds (90*200) and two extra mattresses if you want more sleeping places. The kitchen is well equipped and has, in addition to a coffee maker, a Dolce Gusto capsule machine. The living room has a fireplace, corner sofa, a good chair, TV and a dining room with room for 6 people. We have a high chair and a step stool that you are welcome to borrow. We also have a lot of games that we hope you will use! You must bring bed linen and towels yourself. Guest access You can use the whole cabin except for a small storage room on the 2nd floor. There we lock in our personal belongings so that you can fill cabinets and shelves based on your needs. Other things to note We have good parking facilities for several cars right on the outside of the cabin wall in summer. There is no winter road, then you can either walk (about 2 km) or make the trip more exotic with scooter transport. Please contact us if you need transportation during the winter. There are only three with a license for scooter driving so there is not much driving in the area.
