Outside, a wood-fired bath for two sits under the apple trees. Sleeps two adults and an infant. The space An atmospheric, private woodland retreat in the heart of Thornfalcon’s orchards. Once a shed home to generations of Somerset lambs, the Lambing Shed has been lovingly transformed into an airy, cosy cabin with a bedroom, bathroom and open plan living area with a well-stocked kitchen, selection of antiques and textiles, and curated library of books and games. Outside, a wood-fired bath for two outside under the apple trees. Sleeps two adults and an infant, and one small, well-behaved dog is welcome. Bedroom The Lambing Shed’s cosy, wood-clad bedroom has a king size bed with an exquisite, hand-painted headboard, 400 thread count cotton sheets, feather topper and duvet, as well as blackout blinds for a restful night's sleep. Bathroom The en-suite bathroom has a rain shower, towels and gorgeous products from Made, by Mary Temperly. Living Space The open plan living space is exquisitely decorated with antiques, textiles and treasures found in antique markets, brocantes and on adventures across the UK, France, Spain and Morocco. The kitchen is well-equipped for your culinary creations, a table seats four, and the cosy seating area has a wood-burning stove, and a personally curated library of books and games. Double glass doors open up to the orchard. Outside & the Orchards The Lambing Shed is immersed in Thornfalcon’s cider orchard, and has its own, newly planted eating orchard, with apple, pear and cherry trees. A comfortable seating area sits next to a private, wood-fired bathtub for two. yourself in Thornfalcon's serene surroundings, enjoy al fresco dining, or simply unwind with a good book while appreciating the beauty of the countryside. Lake and Wild Spa A two-acre lake lies at the other end of the farm, and features an off-grid, wood-fired sauna and Scandinavian hot tub on its shores. Each are fired up and filled specially for guests, no chemicals are used anywhere, and are available by appointment. A magical experience and a chance to slow down and immerse in nature. Guest access The Lambing Shed at Thornfalcon Winery & Press has its own, private entrance and parking. Do not drive in to the main farm - the Lambing Shed is on the other side of the lane, about 20m down from the main entrance to Thornfalcon farm and winery. There are black hanging signs that say The Lambing Shed on the fence. If you use What 3 Words, these three words will take you directly there: shortens liver vegetables Drive up the small slope into the orchard, and park your car at the top. You'll find a shed there with a trolley for your luggage and shopping. Walk down the little path to the right of the orchard, and the Lambing Shed is around 50m in front of you. There is a key safe on the side of the Lambing Shed with the key. Other things to note The Lambing Shed is a space to unwind and relax in nature - keeping with the unplugged vibe, I'm afraid we don't have wifi in this cabin.
