Peaceful Fjord House (entire 2’nd floor apartment)

Experience the peaceful village of Leikanger from our cozy apartment, just meters from Sognefjord. Enjoy stunning fjord and mountain views, direct water access, and explore the rich local history, fruit gardens and vineyards. Enjoy hiking, biking, climbing, and great skiing in the winter season. Our newly renovated house features 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a spacious living room with kitchen, and a balcony overlooking the fjord. The space The apartment is located in the 2'nd floor in an old, renovated house about 10 meters from the fjord. In addition to the balcony, you are welcome to sit outside at our private property down by the fjord. We have some sun chairs and a SUP that you are free to use. Other things to note Good bus connection to Sogndal (main city in this region) approx. one departure per hour, duration 20 minutes. There are also daily connections to Balestrand (35 min away). The bus stop is about 200 meters from the house. Two different grocery stores 2, 5 km away. You can walk along the fjord to get there. A very nice walk with great view. Walking distance (200-300 meters) to a hotel that has a great restaurant. You can travel to Flåm with a ferry that leaves 300 meters from the house. Daily departures from Leikanger to Flåm 12:18 and from Flåm to Leikanger 15:30. The journey takes about one hour. There are also a daily connection to Bergen, the ferry takes 4 hours.
