The Stuben is a charming apartment on the top floor of a listed house. With timber-framed, clay plaster and historic floorboards, it exudes a special atmosphere – warm, reduced, stylish. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (bathtub & shower), two separate toilets and a spacious living area invite you to linger. The wooden terrace offers a wide view over the rooftops – a real highlight. The apartment is ideal for couples or small groups looking for something special. The space The Alte Tischlerei is a 315-year-old half-timbered house that we have completely renovated and at the same time preserved in its historical soul. With natural materials such as clay and wood, old plank floors, bricks and field stones, a place was created that radiates warmth – and tells a story. On the upper floor of the house you will find Die Stuben – a charming apartment for 2 to 6 people, with cozy bedrooms, a good parlor, a book room, red kitchen and romantic bathrooms. This is where historic timber beams, aesthetics and modern accents meet. The style: reduced, colorful, natural – with a sense of the essential and the special. Facilities & Rooms: • Three bedrooms • Bathtub, shower room, two separate toilets • Spacious living room with a wood-burning stove • Fully equipped kitchen • Large wooden terrace overlooking the town church and the rooftops of Gransee • Direct access to the wild courtyard garden. Features: The room height is only 180 cm in places – a tribute to the historical building structure. In return, the timber frame gives a living feeling of rare authenticity. All rooms are centrally heated, the materials natural, the living feeling original. The accommodation can be easily reached from Berlin by the RE5 – you do not need a car to come to us and switch off. Additional information: • Minimum booking: 2 nights • Bicycles: secure covered parking space; rental nearby (Tommy's bicycle shed) • Parking: in the public street space Other things to note Our house has a long history – over 300 years old walls, historic floors and lovingly restored furniture give it its special character. In order to preserve this magic, we ask for some mindfulness in dealing with the materials. Basic oven: On romantic autumn days / winter days, our basic oven can be used. Wood, accessories and a short briefing are available on request for an additional charge of 35 EUR. One basket of logs + one basket of kindling + lighter about 25 kg (enough for two heating cycles). Pets: As much as we like animals, we decided not to accept pets because some of our guests are allergic and the old floors and textiles are very sensitive. Neighboring cats: In our garden, there are sometimes curious neighboring cats on the go. We appreciate their visit outdoors, but ask that you do not let them into the house – they have their little territory out there. Shoes in the house: Our historic wooden floors are beautiful but sensitive. We therefore ask you not to wear street shoes in the house – slippers are available.
