Gather around the dining table for long, relaxed dinners, plan a special celebration with friends, or simply enjoy a morning coffee while basking in the natural sunlight that pours through the glazed extension at every opportunity. Just off the kitchen, you’ll also find a spacious utility room complete with washing machine, tumble dryer, and built-in storage - perfect for muddy boots, jackets, and other countryside essentials. SLEEP The Laurels sleeps six guests in three stylish country-chic bedrooms where you can enjoy cosy nights and slow mornings. Master King Suite: This is the house’s main retreat with a luxurious bath, a separate walk-in shower, and twin basins for added comfort and space. Second King Bedroom: A private haven complete with en suite bath, plush seating, and a cosy kitchenette - perfect for a morning cup or a late-night snack. Double Bedroom: Elegant and tranquil, this room has its own en suite shower room, as well as soft linens, and countryside views. It’s an ideal space for winding down after a day of exploring. RELAX From the moment you arrive, this is a luxury holiday home which invites you to forget the outside world and totally unwind. The main living area is spacious yet intimate, with a step-down into a lovely, airy room that blends kitchen, dining, and seating around a welcoming wood burner. Across the hallway, there’s a second log-burning fire in the snug and library - a quiet retreat for reading, games, and a glass of something cold as the sun goes down. With underfloor heating downstairs, you’ll feel cosy and comfortable no matter the season. On warmer days, open the living room doors onto the private paved terrace, where the outdoor seating makes the perfect spot for morning coffee in the sun or starlit evenings and memorable chats. EXPLORE Located in a the peaceful spot in the village of Laverton, The Laurels offers a dog-friendly gateway to some of North Yorkshire’s most enchanting landscapes and historic attractions.  Close to the picturesque village of West Tanfield, and not far from Ripon, you can choose to explore as much or as little as you like. Walk the nearby Dales trails, visit the local country pubs, or find some quiet time for reflection in Ripon Cathedral. The iconic Fountains Abbey is also just a short drive away - a jaw-dropping historic site, which is a great day out for both kids and parents. Guest access The whole property.
