Forge Cottage is a converted barn offering comfortable, spacious holiday accommodation for 2 to 3 guests in the peaceful Exmoor village of Wootton Courtenay. The one-bedroom cottage sleeps three, with a king-size double bed plus a single bed in the upstairs bedroom, and a bathroom fitted with a large shower, hand basin and toilet. The space Downstairs is an open-plan living area comprising a good-sized lounge with a wood-effect electric stove, plus a dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is well-equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob, toaster, kettle and all the usual utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. The living room has a television with Freeview, a DVD player and an iPod docking station, and the cottage has limited internet access. Oil-fired central heating runs throughout, with heating and electricity included in the price. Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are all provided, along with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits on arrival, plus basic cleaning materials and toilet roll. Outside there is a small, south-facing patio with a garden bench, ideal for enjoying the sunshine. Off-road, under-cover parking for one car is available directly beside the cottage. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, up to a maximum of two, with a supplement of GBP 25 per dog. Dogs should be kept off the furniture and out of the upstairs area, and should not be left alone in the property. The cottage is strictly non-smoking and is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with restricted mobility. Check-in is from 4pm, with departure by 10am. The cottage is available for week-long breaks (Saturday to Saturday) during peak periods, with shorter breaks of two, three or four nights sometimes available at other times.
