The space Our home is located in Runavík – centrally on the Faroe Islands with easy access to both nature and towns. Tórshavn is just a 20-minute drive away, and the airport can be reached in about 40 minutes. Public bus connections heading both north and south are within walking distance. There’s also the option for a refreshing sea dip at the beach in Glyvrar, about 1 km from the house. Within walking distance, you’ll also find Toftavatn – a scenic lake with a pleasant walking path, perfect for a quiet stroll. Places like Gjógv, Elduvík, and Funningur are close by and ideal for short trips. In Runavík, you’ll find supermarkets and great restaurants such as Café Cibo, Rist Steakhouse, and Etika Sushi. During your stay We are also renting out one more room in our home, located next to yours. The bathroom is shared between the two rooms, so you may meet other kind guests during your stay.
