Welcome to our lovingly modernized holiday apartment, renovated in 2025, located in a historic villa dating back to 1912. The villa is idyllically situated on the edge of the forest in Krölpa, just a 20-minute drive from the Thuringian Sea. With 78 m² of living space, it accommodates up to 5 guests. The apartment features two bedrooms, a cozy living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub, as well as a spacious terrace and garden. The holiday apartment at Villa Marienhof is exactly that kind of place. Our cozy apartment in this historic villa, built in 1912, was lovingly modernized and newly furnished in 2025. It is idyllically located on the edge of the forest in Krölpa, around a 7-minute drive from Pößneck and approximately 20 minutes from the Thuringian Sea. With 78 m² of living space, the ground-floor apartment accommodates up to 5 guests and is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Thuringian countryside, enjoying outdoor activities or simply spending a few relaxing days away from it all. Space to Feel at Home The heart of the apartment is the spacious living room with a comfortable seating area, dining table, TV and sofa bed. After an eventful day, you can relax here, enjoy a meal together or unwind with a movie in the evening. For a comfortable stay, the apartment is equipped with everything you need for your getaway: - Sleeping: Two separate bedrooms and the sofa bed in the living room provide space for up to 5 guests. One bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed (180 × 200 cm), while the second bedroom has two single beds (90 × 200 cm each). The two single beds can also be pushed together to create a second double bed. The fifth guest can sleep comfortably on the sofa bed in the living room. - Cooking: The fully equipped fitted kitchen provides everything you need for self-catering, including a 4-zone ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, 200-liter fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and crockery. Preparing your favorite meals is easy and convenient. - Bathroom: The spacious bathroom with a window features a bathtub with a shower option, washbasin and toilet. A washing machine is also available. - Entertainment & Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi and a TV ensure that you can stay connected during your holiday and enjoy a cozy evening in the apartment. Your Place in the Green As soon as you step outside, your own little retreat awaits. Enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace or end the day with a glass of wine. The shared garden offers plenty of space to relax. Garden furniture, a lawn for sunbathing, a barbecue and a fire pit make the outdoor area the perfect place to spend cozy hours with family or friends. Please note that the garden is not fully fenced. The location is also ideal for day trips. Pößneck is just a few minutes away by car, while the surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for nature experiences, excursions and cultural discoveries. Private Boat Trip on the Hohenwarte Reservoir: As a guest, you have the opportunity to book an exclusive boat trip on my motorboat for up to 4 people. The Hohenwarte Reservoir is approximately 100 meters wide on average and stretches for around 27 kilometers – perfect conditions for a relaxing day on the water. Rafting on the Saale: Looking for something a little more adventurous? Our holiday guests also have the option of renting a rafting boat for a full-day tour on the Saale River. The route runs from Kirchhasel to Kahla and takes around 8 hours, including a break. Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful landscape from the water at a relaxed pace. Easy Arrival & Convenient Amenities Your holiday starts stress-free: Check-in is self-service and contactless via a key box. You can park your car conveniently directly on the property. An EV charging station is also available for electric vehicles. Villa Marienhof combines the charm of a historic villa with modern comforts, offering you a cozy retreat surrounded by nature.
