The spectacular surrounding coastline gives access to beaches and coves such as Woody Bay and Steephill. The nearest town is Ventnor and still retains its original Victorian seaside charm and makes a great day out for all the family. Just under two miles away from the property you will find a number of lovely seaside tea shops, pubs and restaurants dotted along the esplanade, including the well-known Spyglass Inn. There are also some quirky and bespoke shops, park and a children’s paddling pool. Sea and cliff walks can be found along the coastal paths in both directions from the property, and outdoor pursuits on the island are well catered for and include horse riding, fishing, cycling, paragliding, water sports and golf. There are numerous attractions to discover for all ages, including The Needles with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay.
