The space New, inviting rental cottage on Maurset – close to Sysendalen and Hardangervidda Welcome to a quite practical and cozy mountain cabin with an idyllic location in a well-established cabin area, only one minute from Highway 7 and a short distance to Sysendalen Ski Center. Here you live close to both mountains and plains – with nature experiences in all directions. The cabin is perfect for up to 8 people and is just as nice to visit in summer as in winter. Spring and autumn also offer wonderful experiences – with hiking trails, mountain air and changing landscapes just outside the door. The cabin consists of 3 bedrooms with 8 beds. Bed linens and towels included in price. Guests have free parking right outside, space for 3 cars. Guests are free to use all kitchen utensils and dry goods, but be sure to report or replace anything that may be empty. Toilet paper and paper towels are also included, as well as basic soaps and shampoo. Other things to note Some info about location and activities to find nearby: Only 2.5 hours from Bergen (Flesland Airport, BGO) 1 hour drive to Mikkelparken 15 minutes to Hardangervidden National Park at Dyranut 10 minutes to Vøringsfossen (must be seen) 20 minutes to the Norwegian Nature Center in Øvre Eidfjord 30 minutes to Eidfjord where you have opportunities for rafting, kayaking, Rib boat. 1 hour to Geilo 1 hour and 15 minutes to Lofthus where you will find Dronningstien, cider sales and the venerable Ullensvang Hotel. Restaurants and cafes with delicious food in Eidfjord. Dyranut Fjellstue also serves food (in season) Grocery store (open 7-23 every day) nearby and opportunities for fast charging of electric car.
