Description
Lane View House is strategically placed in the heart of the Peak District with panoramic views of the Buxworth valleys and Chinley Churn. Step out of the door and you’ll be on the foot path to Eccles Pike - just a 35min hike to the top through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Peak District. Watch the sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening in our stunning garden. The house is right next to Buxworth Basin, 20mins from Kinder-scout, South-head and Mam To Can store bikes The space Our home is a 1930’s end terrace with enough parking space for up to 3 cars, vans or camper vans. Strong WIFI, (and phone signal), suitable for work calls in all rooms. There is a large monitor and a laptop stand for you to use. The house is situated on a beautiful lane opposite an open field with sheep and very friendly baby lambs during the spring. You can see the sunrise from the front of the house and master bedroom, and sunset from our south facing garden - we have two solid wood love-seats located on our sandstone patio which are perfect for watching the sunset over the open fields at the back. In warmer months we have a swing in the garden that the whole family can enjoy. Our Cherry Blossom blooms in late April, and our garden is filled with flowers from March until October, from Tulips & Daffodils in spring to Roses in the Autumn. For every season we have a show of colour for you to enjoy. There is a big bath and shower in bathroom. Guest access Guests can access the property any time after 3pm for check-in and we request a 10am check-out. The key is available via a lock box. 24/7 Bike storage available. Other things to note We allow pets provided you tell us in advance. We ask that they do not go upstairs or on the furnature and that you pick up any poop 💩 immediately if the dog goes in the garden. Please do not leave dogs unattended in the garden as there is a communal walk way used by some of our neighbours which goes past our backdoor so there is always a risk of someone bumping into your dog and giving it a scare or vice versa! We are an end terrace so the 3 directly connected houses bring their black bins through our garden on Thursday evenings for a Friday morning collection. Our neighbours are all lovely and friendly - this is a very close knit community of people. We allow our neighbours to pass through our garden when walking their dogs or using their bikes and ask that you are polite and accommodating of this, as we above all wish to maintain the strong relationships we have on the lane. Between the months of April - October we also allow the farmer who owns the sheep in the field at the front of our house to use our outdoor tap to fill the sheep’s water bowls. We also have a gardener who attends to the garden every other Friday, but we will ensure you know when he is coming to make sure it’s convenient for you before he goes there. We also have a laundry team who you may see dropping off clean laundry in the workshop - they always aim to come and go discreetly and won’t disturb you.
