Need a break from the noise, the rush, the everything? Unwind at Chanderlok Guest House, your cozy hideout in the hills. Surrounded by blooming garden, birds and butterflies, jaw-dropping mountain views, peaceful rural surroundings, home-cooked food and WiFi, the place is ideal for friends, family, couples and solo travelers for both short getaways and long stays. We are centrally located between Kullu and Manali, both approx. 20 kms away and Naggar's major attractions within a km range. The space At Unwind at Chanderlok, there are a total of 5 spacious private bedrooms and an independent family suite with attached kitchen. The Family Suite is on the first floor with a separate private entrance. The attached kitchen is equipped with basic cooking utensils, cutlery and a gas stove (Spices, tea, coffee, oil are not provided). There is a beautiful garden for outdoor sitting and dining, a terrace to relax and enjoy breathtaking Himalayan views and a common indoor traditional dining space to enjoy home-cooked food on order, listen to music or simply play board games. This isn't a hotel, it's a warm, homey space. Sheetla Mata temple, a 2000-year old temple of historical and cultural significance is right at the property, ideal for meditating and spending quiet hours. All the major attractions of Naggar- the Naggar Castle, Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery, Krishna temple, Gauri Shankar temple and the Tripura Sundari temple are within walking distance from the property through the quaint village. Guest access Guests can access the garden, terrace, common indoor dining space and the temple. Other things to note The property is only 30 meters from the main road, easily accessible on foot or by a two-wheeler. Parking at the property is only available for two-wheelers. The nearest private car parking @ Rs. 100 per day is only 80 meters from the property, subject to availability. Please check with us in advance if you need a parking spot. We don't have power back up. There are rechargeable bulbs in each room in case of any unexpected power outage. If need be, you may ask the caretaker for toilet paper roll, mat, hair dryer, extension board, iron and laundry (extra charge). You can access the electric kettle and refill filtered water from the common indoor dining space. Portable heater for the room is available at an additional charge of Rs. 200 per night.
