In the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dolomites is the small village of San Vigilio di Marebbe at 1201 m.a.s.l. - a popular holiday resort in summer and winter due to its extremely sunny location. The proximity to the famous Plan de Corones makes the village an ideal starting point for skiers and ski tourers. Other things to note On the outskirts of the village, directly at the mountain forest, there is the 70 m2 holiday apartment "Désirée - Apartment Dolasilla" on the first floor of a building built in the typical South Tyrolean style. The rustic and comfortable apartment has a living room with a sofa bed for 2 persons and corner seat, a very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and fridge/freezer, 2 bedrooms as well as a bathroom with tub and toilet and offers space for 6 persons. From the balcony you have a fantastic mountain view, if you stand here and breathe the clean mountain air, you can certainly forget the stress and hectic of everyday life. Numerous routes for hikers, mountaineers and mountain bikers start directly in front of the door. The Fanes Sennes Braies Nature Park with its picturesque hiking trails is also nearby. A restaurant is in the direct neighbourhood (120 m), many more as well as supermarkets and other shopping facilities can be found in the village centre (1.2 - 2.5 km or 3 - 5 minutes by car). And for the friends of winter sports: An entrance (Skiarea Miara) to the big ski area Plan de Corones, which is also a member of the Dolomiti Superski carousel, is already 1 km away, the ski bus starts directly in front of the house.
