The apartment has been brought back to its original structure and the apartments have kept the typical rural characteristics of the hilly district of Mugello, at the same time offering all modern comforts. The “coccodrillo” apartment is 90 square metres. It consists of two bedrooms, one bathroom, one large living – room with a bright kitchen and a lounge area. Outside the apartment there is a garden where you can eat in the open air. All windows are in front of the valley of Mugello. The garden is organized so that it is possible to relax in privacy. There are plenty of footpaths for those keen on walking, mountain biking and trekking. A little swimming pool will refresh your hot days here und will amuse your children. Other facilities, such as a private football ground, a ping-pong table are put at your disposal for a total relax. You will be in direct touch with the nature and the peasants’ everyday life of the hilly district of Mugello. If you are interested in knowing more about the products of our land, you could also directly join the landlady on the field, trying to get acquainted with the tricks of the trade. The farm produces chestnuts, kitchen-garden products and extra virgin olive oil. The establishment is situated 600 meters above sea level and enjoys a panoramic view. It’s only 8 km away from Vicchio di Mugello, an old village enclosed by walls dating back to the fourteenth century. Vicchio is the native town of renowned artists such as Giotto and Beato Angelico.
