With no neighbors nearby, you'll enjoy a peaceful environment. The forest is right outside, providing easy access to the outdoors and the beauty of Lapland’s wilderness. Long-term rentals are welcome. To respect our privacy and that of other residents, we’ve uploaded only photos that show the room and small details of the house. Our home is located in the heart of nature, right at the edge of Pallas National Park. Thomas and Linda live privately on the upper floor of the house, and the guest room is completely separate. The surrounding area is peaceful, and you’ll be immersed in the beauty of Lapland’s wilderness. In the winter, we operate a husky tour business, which means there are 40 dogs on the property. While they are usually quiet, you may occasionally hear them, especially during feeding times or when they’re howling. The dog area is private, ensuring your peace of mind. The room itself is well-equipped with fresh bed linens, towels, and a private fridge with a freezer compartment. The window offers a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery, and you’ll have direct access to the forest and hiking trails right outside the door. This is a wonderful spot for those who appreciate nature and tranquility, yet still want the comfort of a fully furnished space during their stay. Guest access What’s Included During Your Stay The private room features built-in wardrobes, a personal fridge with freezer compartment, and a cozy setup with a beautiful view into the surrounding forest. Right next to the room is a small private bathroom for your use. Guests are welcome to use shared areas of the house, including the winter garden, the living room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a utility room with washing machine and dryer. You’ll also have access to a shared bathroom with shower and sauna – perfect after a day outdoors. We provide towels and bed linen for the entire duration of your stay. Outside, you’re welcome to use our handmade grillkota with a fireplace – firewood is provided. Our home is a great starting point for hikes in the Pallas–Ylläs National Park, with trails beginning right from the doorstep. During your stay always reachable via message or phonecall. We live also on the upper floor. Other things to note Additional Information Please note that smoking is not allowed inside the house. This is a dog-loving home – we live and work with 40 Alaskan huskies, so it’s not suitable for guests with dog hair allergies. The dogs live on the property, and while their area is private, you may hear them at times, especially during feeding or when they howl together. Our land is spacious and borders directly on the Pallas–Ylläs National Park, offering immediate access to hiking trails and untouched wilderness. We are both certified wilderness guides and are happy to help you plan hikes or share recommendations for exploring the area.
