This house is not just for sleeping – it is a comprehensive experience. In Kršlica, the simplicity of rural life awaits you with the comfort of modern accommodation. The primary goal was to create an authentic place where guests could spend time relaxing – just the way it should be. The space The beginnings of the renovation of the rural house with a total usable area of 165 square meters date back to the mid-1990s, when we acquired the property. Due to the neglected condition of the house, practically endless years of intensive work followed. The motto of the restoration was respect for the craft, history and respect for the building heritage of the village and the region. In addition to traditional materials, traditional methods were also used in the reconstruction. The interior of the building is characterized by the preservation of the original structures and materials, which have been newly supplemented with modern technological elements. In addition to lime plaster, we can also find wooden trusses, renovated wooden door or window sashes, original stone and clay walls. The atmosphere is completed by simple but well-made craft details. The restoration of this building represents a mix of traditional and modern architectural and construction craftsmanship, complemented by respect for the history of the village of Vrbovce. It is worth mentioning that no EU funds or subsidies were used for the renovation of the building and its modification. Sleeping: 6 comfortable double beds (plus sofa beds for extra guests) in four bedrooms. In the morning you wake up with a view straight into the valley – there is no noise, only silence and birdsong. Heating: Heated floors and walls together with electric convectors – all remotely controlled. For lovers of romance: nice and old-fashioned - wood stoves that will heat the whole space. The wood is heated here with joy and the evening by the fire has its own charm. Indoor kitchen: Small but handy – there is an electric hob, kettle, dishes, pots, cutlery, dishwasher, blender - basically everything you need when you want to cook something. Refrigerator? Sure. Exterior kitchen: Large covered terrace with a view where you can drink coffee in the morning and watch the stars in the evening. Electric hob, toaster, gas and electric grill, fridge – everything you need for a garden party. Shelter with bread-pizza oven: For true connoisseurs of good food. Experiments are not limited :-). Signal and Internet and TV: Yes, there is WiFi – but we recommend not to use it, because Kršlica is made for digital detox. But if you really need it, whether for work or fun: the internet is stable. Parking: No problem – you can park your car right next to the house. Guest access A little worse access on an unpaved forest road is a guarantee of privacy. The blue uninhabited house in the foreground is also our property - currently used as a farm building.
