Sunny Coastal Barn

Newly renovated barn conversion, located on a stunning National Trust cliff-top farm with direct access to the S/W coast path 8 minutes stroll from garden gate. Many unspoilt beaches, attractions and eateries within a very short drive. The space Tastefully renovated, self-contained stone barn located on a coastal farmstead along with an ancient medieval farmhouse and a traditional whitewashed Cornish cottage. Each individual property with their own private outside space. Returning guests have enjoyed our family run hospitality for many years. An easy ten-minute walk will take you to the cliffs and coast path where you can enjoy fabulous sunsets over the sea and the beautiful beach at Crackington Haven is but a very short drive or energetic hours walk with amazing views along the SW way. This is a super beach with sand [except at high tide], surfing and rock pools to explore. There’s a great pub, 2 cafes and lifeguards patrol during summer. There are many other beaches to choose from within 20 minutes’ drive and endless other places to visit by car. Our sunny converted barn provides three very comfortable double bedrooms each with a lovely king-size bed and en-suite shower and toilet. [One bedroom is located on the ground floor making it suitable for slightly less mobile guests.] The spacious open-plan living area with beautiful wooden floors opens onto a pretty patio where meals can be enjoyed ‘al fresco’ and our guests are very welcome to enjoy the freedom of walking in the fields around the farm. The barn has full central heating and a well-equipped kitchen. There is a Smart TV and Wifi. Bedding and bath towels are provided. A BBQ is available and outside seating is provided. Guest access Guests have a large patio area in front of the barn and there is a private gravelled yard between the barn and the separate farmhouse offering more space in the sun in the evenings. Everyone is welcome to explore the fields going out to the cliffs and enjoy the spectacular views from there. Guests can enjoy beautiful walks [especially in springtime when the primroses and bluebells are in bloom and the trees are beginning to show their leaves] through the woods to the coast. Other things to note Check-in time is 3 pm and check out is at 10am on the day of departure [unless you have made special arrangements with me] Please also be mindful of noise levels and respectful of other people who are on holiday and those who live at Lower Tresmorn which is a tranquil, relaxing place. For the enjoyment of everyone please respect the Quiet time between 9am and 9 pm.
