Welcome US guests! Romantic getaway, near St. Andrew's, Canada's #1 tourist destination! Secluded luxury accommodation w/ hot tub & firepit, on water - 38 foot tides! See seals and porpoise! Access to a table reserved for SEAWINDS guests every Saturday night at the Rossmount, one of Canada's top 10 restaurants! ( Difficult to get reservations in the summer.) Queen bed w/remote, mini fridge, Kureig, microwave, air-conditioning, safe to drink well water, 4K TV & the most spectacular view! The space This is my home year round. I live on the upper level. It is like two apartments. Each with their own private access. When you are a guest in the studio, I do not use my upper deck to provide you with privacy while you are here. ...and I am a busy lady! So really, I am not around much! But only a msg away, if you need anything! Also, if you are an early riser, don't worry about waking me, as my bedroom is at the back of the house, above the garage and that ensures both our privacy. No pets allowed, adults preferred as there is a steep bank to the water. Additional guests $50/person/night. (Meaning a 3rd person or more.) SEAWINDS is located at the estuary where the sea waters from the Bay of Fundy meet the St. Croix River. You will enjoy viewing the 38 foot tides coming and going from your private wrap around deck. Twice a day, 160 billion tons of seawater is pulled into the world famous Bay of Fundy. More than 4 times the combined flow of fresh water rivers on the planet is forced into a tighter and shallower area as the bay narrows. You can take the private stairway to the beach and walk on the ocean floor during low tide! The road into SEAWINDS is 1/4 mile, through the woods to the water. While this section is not paved, it is a beautifully engineered road, safe to drive a sports car, guaranteed you will be pleased and impressed! Parking is directly outside your door. SEAWINDS can be your winter holiday destination! You can enjoy hiking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing at the Ganong Nature Park, 350 acre peninsula, a 10 minute walk, less than a mile from SEAWINDS. Guest access Private entrance with keypad. Your studio has a garden door to your private 16' x 60' private deck overlooking the water. You may inquire about a private yoga class (in nice weather on the deck). Kayaks available to rent. Other things to note As a special courtesy to my guests, reservations have been made every Saturday evening at the famous Rossmount Inn. This restaurant is on the top 10 in Canada usually takes a cancellation to get a table in the summer. When you book you will have the option of taking the Saturday night reservation, if you choose! Entering on your left there is a large closet with wooden hangers and on your right a bathroom with a shower. Excellent water from a well which you can drink right from the tap and a bar tap in the bathroom so you can fill your water bottles. Pocket door to your studio. Wall of windows with 2 garden doors to access this large wrap around deck. 16' x 60' along the water 42' x 16' wrap around With electric start gas firepit, comfortable chairs and loungers and, of course, the deluxe Cabana hot tub! Kureig, microwave and small fridge for your convenience. Wi-FI 55" TV 4K with satellite Netflix DVD Player Round table and chairs for meals looking out a large picture window with that spectacular view! Addional large workspace table can also double to apply makeup as a large mirror with magnifying mirror attached to it is at one end of the table and next to a window for natural lighting. I am continually doing things to upgrade. You will have a bed with a remote control to raise and lower, both the head and foot of the bed. A mattress topped with 4 inch memory foam encased in a padded mattress cover. Bed side tables with tri-light! (Soft lighting, medium or strong lighting, so you can set the mood.) You will enjoy the firepit! Very easy to start. You can find soft blankets and cozy puffs to wrap yourself in the cabinet. Ideal for an early morning cofffee or those cool evenings sitting on the deck. There are china plates, bowls and cups, good quality wine glasses (both stemless and with stems), cutlery, cream pitcher, salt and pepper shakers and cloth napkins/paper napkins, your choice. Bowls you can use for serving or snacks, like chips, cutting board and a Checuterie board. If you prefer paper, there are paper plates and cups (take a tea or coffee with you as you leave). My water is excellent! You can drink it right from the tap... it tastes really good. Fill your water bottle. You will be asked, after you book, whether you like Orange Juice or Apple Juice and what you take in your coffee (cream, milk, 2%, half&half?) and it will be waiting for you in the fridge. Lots of choices for types of tea, coffee and hot chocolate for Kureig. If there is anything you need, I will be happy to help!
