Other things to note Important Information for Your Stay at Tanganyika Coastal Campsite We're located inside Saadani National Park, just 138 km from Julius Kambarage Nyerere International Airport (Dar es Salaam)and only 45 km from Zanzibar by boat. To ensure a smooth experience, please arrange your transportation in advance, especially if you're arriving by air or sea. Park Entry Guidelines The Saadani National Park gates are open daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We recommend planning your arrival during these hours to avoid any inconvenience. If you’re arriving on a late-night flight, it’s a good idea to book accommodation near the airport for the night, then start your journey to Saadani the following morning. TANAPA Fees (Payable Directly at the Park Gate) These are the official fees set by the Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA): - Park Entry Fees (per person, per day): - Adults:USD 35.40 - Children (5–15 years): USD 11.80 - Infants (below 5 years): Free - Safari Vehicle Hire (within the park): USD 200 per group - You can also opt to share a vehicle with other guests at the park. - River Wami Boat Safari USD 60 per person - Tortoise Hatching Expedition USD 60 per person All activities and fees are arranged and paid directly through TANAPA at the park.
