Welcome to our home in Runavík! We would love to have you stay in our bright, quiet room featuring a double bed and a view of the fjord. To make your mornings a little easier, breakfast is included in your stay, and you’ll have free Wi-Fi throughout the house. The space A central base for your trip Our home is located in Runavík, which we find is a very practical base for exploring a large part of the Faroe Islands. Thanks to the Eysturoyartunnil (undersea tunnel), Tórshavn is only a 15–20 minute drive away. This allows you to enjoy the city easily while having a quiet place to return to at night. The Space • Your Room: A private room with a comfortable double bed and a view of the water. • Shared Bathroom: Please note the bathroom is shared with guests from one other rental room in the house. • Local Amenities: Within a short walk, you’ll find supermarkets and good local restaurants like Etika Sushi, Rist Steakhouse, and Café Cibo. Nature nearby You don’t have to go far for a nice walk or a bit of nature: • Toftavatn lake: A scenic lake with peaceful hiking trails is just a short walk away. • Glyvrar beach: About 1 km from the house if you fancy a refreshing sea dip. • Day trips: Our central location is ideal for driving to most major sights and scenic villages across the islands.
