Located in the historic city of Srirangapatna, this home is 30 mins (approx 17km) from Mysore Railway Station and 3.5 hours (approx 190 km) from Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. The home has bare brick walls, while the interiors boast contemporary decor with delicate chandeliers, lamps, and pots. Perched at the edge of the river, witness the villa come alive during monsoons when the river fills up to the brim and the surrounding trees turn a deep viridescent hue, attracting a host of winged creatures. The home is fully-serviced, with an on-site caretaker dedicated to making your stay hassle-free, making it perfect for corporate offsites or milestone celebrations. Layout: In front of the entrance is a large lily pond, enhancing the beauty of the landscape. As you enter the home, you are greeted by an enormous living and dining space with high ceilings and an open floor plan which opens up to a verdant garden. One bedroom is located next to the living area, with an ensuite bathroom offering views of the garden. Make your way up the stairs to find a quaint sitting area and verandah welcoming you with soothing views of the garden and river. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor (each with an ensuite bathroom). What can you do in and around the property? Reminisce about the good days with your loved ones in the warmth of the bonfire, and take a stroll on the river deck and let the sound of the gushing water soothe your senses. Bond with your group over scrumptious, authentic South Indian meals The home is located close to several famous touristy places in Mysuru, like Brindavan Gardens, Mysore Palace, and Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, all within proximity (approx 45 minutes). There are also a number of places of worship near the villa, such as St. Philomena's Cathedral and Chamundeshwari Devi Temple, which are 20 minutes from the home. Guest access Guests have access to the entire villa and premises except the kitchen. We have a cook to handle all meal requirements and hence guests do not have kitchen access. Parents of infants can access the kitchen for baby meals with prior approval Other things to note Loud Music is not allowed In case of disruption due to fluctuation, we have an inverter which burns out beyond 4 hours of usage. Smoking inside the villa is strictly prohibited. We have an Airtel dongle with a speed range of 2-4 mbps in the villa. Airtel and Jio mobile networks work best. Considering the unique location of the villa, Internet connectivity can get affected due to falling of trees, heavy rains or other causes
