The Grange in Cantal

The Grange is your corner of the countryside, surrounded by meadows and forests. A sanctuary for nature lovers, dreamers, in search of peace and essential simplicity... The house, wide open to the outdoor spaces, allows you to live to the natural rhythm of the days and seasons. Here, we slow down, we reconnect with the living world: the fauna, the earth, the wind, the flora... The space It is a house in the countryside, for a stay in a sustainable spirit, where the beauty of the Cantal invites you to slow down. The house will comfortably accommodate 6 people. The terrace, the garden and its barbecue, the shadows of the fruit trees are your sanctuaries, for lunch, eating or dinner... and relaxing! The kitchen wraps around a beautiful farm table that will allow an authentic country buffet in the house. Dishwasher, glass-ceramic hobs, oven, refrigerator, filter and Italian coffee machines complete the equipment. Parlan, the nearest village, has a bakery and a local grocery store and is complete with fruits and vegetables, cheeses and butcher's shop. In the neighboring villages, weekly markets make a large place for local producers of Lot and Cantal. Not to mention an excellent wine cellar in Rouget! The rooms with wooden flooring, and exposed beams for those upstairs, all have a comfortable, warm and bucolic atmosphere. The decor is mottled or inspired by walks in the woods. The windows offer a view of the vegetation, and let in natural light. Four bedrooms, 3 of which are equipped with double beds and the 4th has 2 single beds. The bathrooms, one per floor, with shower, have been renovated in a 50s spirit or arranged in a country style. They offer openings with natural light. A grandiose mountain hike on the slopes of Puy Mary, to discover the peaks, ridges and glacial valleys of the Monts du Cantal, and finish with a tasting of a bourriol with Roquefort in Salers . Discovering Aurillac, its bistronomy, its Street Theater festival or Marcolès and its gourmet restaurant . A cultural tour of Figeac or Conques . A walk in the woods of the property, a meal with a clafoutis of plums from the garden and a piece of Cantal, fragrant and creamy... Or simply, contemplate, read, listen, observe, feel...
