The space The Space Welcome to your off-grid escape in the beautiful hills of West Virginia! This large, rustic cabin sits on 50 private acres and comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests — perfect for families, hunting groups, or outdoor adventurers. You’ll be surrounded by peace, solitude, and hundreds of miles of ATV trails, great fishing, and public hunting lands, many within walking distance or just a short ride on a side-by-side from the cabin. We’re within easy driving distance for a weekend trip — 3.5 hours from Cleveland or Cincinnati, 2.5 hours from Columbus, and 3 hours from Pittsburgh. What to Know Before You Book 🧹 Guests are expected to clean up after themselves before departure. That includes taking out all trash, putting items away that have been used, straightening up and leaving the cabin as you found it. We do have a local friend who stops by after each stay to check on the place, but as of now we do not have a cleaner. 🧺 There is no washer or dryer on-site, and since we live out of state, we do not provide sheets or blankets. Please bring your own bedding, towels, and other personal linens. 🧭 We highly recommend using a GPS off-road app like OnX Offroad. Trails are abundant and beautiful, but it’s easy to get turned around. Verizon cell signal is available at the cabin (we’re at high altitude), but you will likely lose signal on the trails. OnX and similar apps work via satellite as long as you download maps ahead of time. ⚡ This cabin runs on solar power with a battery bank. The system works great most of the time, but on extended cloudy days, you may need to limit electricity use to allow the system to recharge. We’ll provide easy instructions to check the battery level and manage power if needed. Guest access Guest have access to the whole house and yard.
