We are located in Auernheim, on the edge of the beautiful Altmühltal Nature Park and close to the Franconian Lake District. There is something for everyone here: cycling, hiking, canoeing, swimming in the lakes or in the beautiful Altmühl thermal baths with healing springs, fossil hunting and much more. There are also numerous museums, churches and monasteries to visit. Within walking distance there is a bakery, a meat vending machine, an egg and potato hut for self-sufficiency and the possibility of getting fresh vegetables from a community farm 2 km away. Lake Hechlingen is 6 km away and is ideal for swimming and boating. The Altmühlsee and Brombachsee lakes are 27 and 30 km away respectively, and check-in is from 3 pm, check-out is until 11 am. An electric car/Citroen Spacetourer is available by arrangement and for a fee.
