Beachfront Room w/ Covered Roofdeck & Pickleball!

Welcome to our family's beach house! We reside in the U.S. but visit Romblon several times in the year for fiestas, class reunions, and family celebrations. We find the ocean breeze, smell of ripe mangoes, and chill of the water on a humid day relaxing. We hope that you experience the same serenity and warmth from our town. The space There are 5 private guest rooms available for individual or multiple room rentals. All rooms have their own bathroom, internet TV, reading corner, workspace, and safety deposit box. Rooms #2-6 are available for guests with a minimum stay of 3 days and 2 adults maximum in each room. This rental is for Room #5. There is a shared kitchen, living room, and dining room in the center of the home facing the beach. Enjoy the spacious covered roof deck for pickle ball, yoga, or outdoor reading with an ocean view on both sunny and rainy days! Wifi is accessible throughout the property and to the beach. No pets are allowed on the property. No smoking of any kind is allowed on the property. Guest access INDOOR SHARED SPACE Guests are to share the kitchen, living room, dining room, and half bath in the center of the house on the beach side. There is a sectional couch, coffee tables, and a dining table with chairs. There is no air conditioning in this shared space but there are four ceiling and wall fans to keep you cool during the hotter months on the island. Kitchen A well-supplied communal kitchen is available for all your cooking needs during your stay. Guests are responsible for all meals including grocery shopping. OUTDOOR SHARED SPACE Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared patio, roof deck, garden, library, and of course, the beach. Garden We have a lush front and backyard for you to relax or do work. If you’re lucky, Juliet and Aries may harvest some coconuts, mangoes, bananas, and jackfruit for you to try from the garden! Library Beside the porch swing is our library. If you’re looking for anything that was published after the year 2000 though, you will not find it! But if you’re looking for vintage reading material, you are in luck. Ask the caretakers to open the library door and help yourself to any of the reading material there during your stay. Outdoor Furniture There are ample fixed benches, tables, and a porch swing throughout the property for you. There are also plastic chairs that can be moved around as you need. Please do not move the wood dining table on the patio. Believe it or not, that is the original wood table from my childhood 70 years ago! Roof Deck There is an expansive and covered roof deck for you to lounge, work, or play on! Grass turf is on the beach side of the roofdeck with power outlets for you to charge your devices. You can request pickleball equipment from Juliet and Aries if you would like to play pickleball on the roof deck! It’s especially fun when it’s raining outside because of the roof on the roof! During your stay Juliet and Aries are the caretaker's of our family beach house. They live in a separate house with their two children in the front yard. They have two dogs, Thor and Milky. When you arrive, they will meet you to give you the keys to your room and can answer any questions you may have about the property. They speak Romblomanon, the native language, Tagalog, and mostly understand English but are familiar with Google Translate for any other languages. If you have questions about your rental, please message the hosts through the Airbnb messaging portal! Other things to note A minimum stay of 3 nights is required. There is a washing machine on site if you wish to do your own laundry. Separate arrangements may be made with the caretakers on site about hiring them for laundry services, tricycle rides, and boating excursions. The hosts are not held responsible for any arrangements made with them about hired services.
