The Lachaux gîte (Cantal)

Our gîte, located in Pleaux, in the Cantal, on the border of the Corrèze, awaits you for your next vacation. Typical Cantal house, renovated in a modern way in 2025, in stone, with cantou, located in a quiet hamlet, it can accommodate up to 6 people including 4 adults. The space The property has: - On the ground floor: A living room with a cantou (fireplace) equipped with a wood stove A fitted kitchen - Upstairs: 2 bedrooms with 160 cm bed (260 x 240 duvet, bolster, 60 x 60 pillow) 1 sleeping area under the roof slope with 2 beds of 90 x 200 cm (duvet 140 x 200), ideal for children Bathroom with bathtub A separate toilet - Outside: a terrace with garden furniture (garden furniture and barbecue). a partially enclosed plot. an uncovered, heated swimming pool to share with the owners from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. from June to mid-September depending on the weather. (swimming pool 10 x 5 m depth 1.10 m and 1.50 m) Enjoy a comfortable stay in a peaceful setting, ideal for nature lovers, our closest neighbors are cows equipped with bells. Walkers: discover all the remarkable sites nearby: Salers, Puy Mary, Dordogne Valley, Spontour and its barge rides, Sothys: its gardens, its restaurant, Pédalorail du pays de Salers, Longayroux water sports center, Salins waterfall, Medieval farms, Tours de Merle... Fishermen: take advantage of a shed to shelter your boat, (electric socket for charger) live tank nearby. Riders: enjoy a paddock in the continuity of the land reserved for the cottage, equestrian center nearby. If you want to go hiking, water sports, climbing, canyoning, mountaineering, a local guide is nearby. The ski resorts of Lioran and Chastreix-Sancy are 1.5 hours away by car, allowing you to go skiing during the day. The gîte is located right behind our house (the exterior facade is to be refreshed). Access to the vacation rental is independent, see aerial view. Bed linen rental is possible at the rate of €15/double bed and €10/single bed (in this case beds made on arrival). Bathroom linens are not provided. When you leave, please leave the house clean, as you found it when you arrived, remove the sheets and empty the garbage cans. No pets allowed. No smoking inside the cottage. Our house is equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras (driveway to our house and terrace on the pool side).
