The Longhouse

The Long House is located in Tokavaig on the Sleat peninsula on the Isle of Skye with amazing views of the Cuillin Mountain range. Armadale is approximately 9 miles away for local shops and the Mallaig - Armadale ferry service. The space As you enter The Long House there is a bright hallway with space for your jackets and shoes. The spacious open plan kitchen and dining area has a large dining table which seats up to eight guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with sink, oven, microwave, automatic bread machine, kettle and Nespresso machine. There are two doors from the kitchen and the dining area leading out to the decking area with picnic bench to enjoy the stunning views from! There are stairs up from the dining area into the lounge with stunning views of the Cuillin Mountain range. There are two sofa's, a chair and a log burning stove. There is also a smart TV with sound bar and a guitar. WI-FI is available with excellent download speeds. Up from the lounge are two twin bedrooms both with two single beds, a bed side table, lamp, and two overhead lamps above each single bed and a chest of drawers. From the entrance hallway there is also a double bedroom with double bed, two bedside tables, a hanging rail with drawers and a full length mirror. There is a shower room beside this bedroom with large walk in shower, toilet, sink and mirror. Upstairs from the entrance hallway there is a second double bedroom with the family bathroom opposite. It has a bath with overhead shower, toilet, sink and mirror. A second staircase from the lounge takes you up to two twin bedrooms. Outside there is a decking area with picnic bench and a large garden from which to enjoy the superb sea views. One well behaved dog is welcome to stay. Please let us know when booking. There is a pet fee of £50 per pet payable two weeks before arrival through Airbnb. There is parking for up to two cars in a parking area off from the driveway / lane.
