Please take a moment to review the important info below to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay. Stair Access Only: There are 20 steps—please use the handrail. Any broken items or trash not taken will be charged a fee. Remember, although this cabin is super nice and updated. It is a CABIN made of wood and in the woods, so critters and bugs are normal! General Info & Amenities: Wi-Fi Password: Located on the kitchen wall by the microwave. TVs: Indoor TV is ready to use—please avoid logging into personal accounts. If you do, we are not responsible for logging you out. The porch TV works via Google Chromecast. Use your own device to cast. Please leave games on porch! No TV in Bedrooms: We encourage true relaxation here! Fan remotes are next to the light switches, please put back Fireplace Remote: Located in the living room bowl. Porch & Firepit Light Remote: In a black bowl on the porch. No Dishwasher: Please hand-wash dishes or use the provided paper products (under microwave). Drying mats are in the left drawer of the sink. No Food Down the Sink and Toilet Paper Only we provided in the toilet—our cabin runs on a septic system. Popcorn & Condiments in fridge: Enjoy the popcorn (above microwave), condiments in the fridge, and a special Twisted Dough treat just for you! Have a cookie on us! Spices: In the bottom left kitchen drawer—feel free to add to our collection! Firepit & Grilling: We offer firewood, charcoal, lighter fluid, and fire sticks under the house. These are provided on an honor system: If you use these, please leave cash on the kitchen counter to help us restock. We take photos before each rental, so if items are used without contribution, we may discontinue this amenity. River & Recreation: River access is just a 30-second walk across the street (featured in our photos but also you can call, and I will be happy to explain your options of the river as these are private properties in area. Floaties are also available for rent if you want to call to use and pay. (Please have cash app or pay cash) or the canoe can also be rented. To Rent Floaties=$20 a weekend and canoe= $50 a weekend. If you break it, you buy it. Purchase if broke. Floaties= $20 extra, canoe= $150 Want to float the creek? Message us, and we’ll guide you! A Note on Nature: This is a real cabin in the woods! You may see the occasional dead bug despite regular pest control. Thank you for understanding. List of things you may take off your grocery list (as we already have them for you at the cabin!) 1- coffee (folgers) or other left from previous guest 2- cleaning supplies/ paper towels and napkins 2- condiments and spices/ popcorn and my fav: My product Twisted Dough 3- fire starters 4- charcoal for mini grill 5- Wood - Please bring your own or stop at Bills Cash Saver on Main Street 6- Trash MUST go home with you, if you do not take it will be a $150 fee as I have to drive in an hour to get it and hour home to trash it! 7- Smoking - none to be done anywhere IN the house or porch. Also, DO NOT throw cigarette buds in the grass, trash or anywhere in/out of the house! $100 fee if found. NO EXCEPTIONS. 8- PLEASE REFILL ICE TRAYS WHILE THERE! WE DO THIS FOR EACH GUEST SO KEEP THE ICE GOING 9- NO food should be left in the fridge/freezer upon your checkout ($100 fee) 10- Damage fees depend on what you damage. Things to watch for or I wish to have known so now you do: - beds scooted up to wall can cause holes/damage the bed sheets (please keep bed frame from wall) - breaking dishes ($20 fee) - breaking fire pit chairs ($80/piece) - damaging deck items ($60/piece) - sheet damage/stains ($60/piece) -- Yes I bought you expensive sheets - damage of any appliances/home/furniture/property that need repair ($150-?? fee) because that's minimal for someone to come out. It doesn't include materials, labor, or cost of getting it here and up the stairs - Coffee maker damage ($100 fee) - Damaging bar stools ($100 fee) - Violating guest use or pet policy ($100 fee/person (or animal)/day) So you might as well book the right number of guests -Just treat it as your own and this list will not matter!
