Nestled in Perth’s Eastern Hills, Forest Views is a peaceful studio retreat for one or two guests. Overlooking the Glen Forrest Superblock, enjoy abundant birdlife, a cozy fireplace, queen bed, full kitchen, free Wi-Fi, a high quality Sonos Audi Speaker, and your own private deck. Extras include yoga mat, weights and a basketball hoop. Right at the Heritage Trail, Cafés 15mins walk away. Hosts live 20meters below the studio and respect your privacy. Due to safety and wildlife, no pets or kids. The space The property is at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac. Perched above the main house and opposite of the stunning Glen Forrest Superblock, this space offers incredible serenity in the forest, abundant birdlife, possums and even the occasional visiting bandicoot. Location Highlights: The Glen Forrest Superblock with lot’s of little hiking trails and a running creek and little waterfall in winter is right at your doorstep! The famous Heritage (Bridle) Trail is accessible right from our street! Walk only 15 minutes east on the trail to Glen Forrest Town Center with a cafe, restaurant and bottle shop or walk 20 minutes west to Darlington's cafés and shops. 20min drive to Perth Airport 15min drive to Midland Gate Shopping Centre 10min drive to Mundaring 33min drive to Perth CBD Please note that the property is on a slope - something to keep in mind if mobility is a concern. There is no railing around the deck, please be mindful of the drop. Due to this, we don't allow bookings with kids. We have friendly and curious magpies that come close - if you are afraid of birds, this place is not for you. Our neighbors are generally very quiet but we can't guarantee that there won't be some occasional noise coming from surrounding properties. Guest access If possible the hosts may meet you at arrival to hand you the keys and answer any questions. Other things to note Perfect for forest walks, writing, mountain biking or quiet time in nature. The studio features reverse cycle air-conditioning, dimmable lighting inside and out and Netflix on a swivel TV (watch from bed or sofa). Enjoy free Wi-Fi, a premium Sonos Wi-Fi Speaker for music lovers, and thoughtful extras like a yoga mat, weights and a basketball hoop in front of the studio. The full kitchen features a gas cooktop, oven, coffee machine (regular & decaf), curated teas and basics like sugar, oil and some spices. The tap water is filtered and great to drink - no need to lug around heavy bottles! The bathroom is stocked with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and other essentials for your use. A hair dryer is also provided. For the winter months there is a cozy fireplace (usable May - October). One basket of firewood is available on request and additional firewood can be purchased.
