Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Steve and Bernadette welcome you to Le Gîte au Coin des Abeilles! We are located just outside of the lovely village of La Caillère, Vendée, in the Pays de la Loire region. 35 minutes by car to the legendary Puy du Fou. Le Gîte au Coin des Abeilles is a renovated farm building, over 200 years old, decorated in bright, but rustic taste. Air conditioning and heating system was installed beginning of 2022. The gîte sleeps up to six people. The space Le Gîte au Coin des Abeilles has three bedrooms (one double on ground floor and two twin rooms upstairs) and sleeps six guests, with two bathrooms (one on each floor), large and well-equipped kitchen/diner and adjacent lounge with 2 sofas. Heat pump / air con system. Cot and high chair available on request for babies and toddlers. Well equipped kitchen/dining room with washing machine, iron and ironing board, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, oven and hob and ample cutlery and crockery. Double bedroom on ground floor leading (by two steps with hand rail) to en-suite bathroom, with bath, shower and toilet Two twin bedrooms on first floor Bathroom on first floor with bath/shower and toilet Bath and pool towels and bed linen included Lounge with English and French TV, DVD player and a selection of English language books and games Cot and high chair are available on request. Outside rear terrace with fixed barbecue and outdoor furniture. Games room including table-football and table tennis Private, enclosed and heated outdoor swimming pool for sole use of guests (Tuesday 1st May 2025 - Tuesday 30th September 2025) Garden with terrace and boules court (boules are available on site) Free wifi available. Off road parking for up to four cars/vans, within property grounds. Lockable cycle/motorcycle storage available. The gîte is ideal for groups of adults (sorry but no parties) and for families with children. Sorry no pets A damage deposit of 500€ cash/cheque/bank transfer is required upon arrival. This deposit is fully refundable during check-out as long as there has been no damage to the property or equipment. Guest access The whole house is available to clients, including private patio and swimming pool. Onsite of road parking for up to four vehicles.
