Luxury bungalow with en-suites

The Dower House sits on Ditchling Common close to South Downs National Park down a private lane in a small, gated community. Footpaths over the Common stretch from our gate. Close by are the pretty villages of Ditchling, Cuckfield and Lindfield, with easy access to Brighton, Glyndebourne and Gatwick Airport. Recently renovated, there are two large ensuite bedrooms, a living area and kitchen with a wrap around south facing terrace and garden, a study, third bathroom and utility room. The space With underfloor heating throughout the property, the living area has a wonderful, vaulted ceiling and a stunning terra cotta brick fireplace. French doors take you onto a wraparound rear terrace with views over the private garden. Grouped around the fireplace, the seating area consists of a modern leather sofa and two armchairs. The television is set on the fireplace’s raised marble hearth. The dining area has a six-seater table and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with two fridges, dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, air fryer and Nespresso coffee machine. The washing machine, tumble dryer and chest freezer are in the separate utility room. The two ensuite bedrooms each have a 5 ft bed, and large fitted wardrobes with shelving and short and full-length hanging space. The ensuites have walk in showers and there is also a family bathroom with a bath. Garden furniture on the terrace includes table and chairs, and sun loungers. A BBQ is available on request. Guest access There is secure parking for one car inside our electric gate, with an electric car charging point available (please note that no adaptors or leads are supplied). There is space for additional car parking outside the electric gate. The inside car parking area is also used by me and my husband Guy, and guests at The Cottage. Other things to note This quiet property is an adult only accommodation, so we do not accept children. We are happy to host one well behaved dog, not a puppy, and the garden is securely fenced. Our property was originally a farm before becoming a stud and riding school, now closed. Although not accessible to guests, we have a renovated Sussex barn and cart shed, and other outbuildings including a former cowshed.
