Nolari Mara Private Tent

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Perched above the sweeping plains of the Masai Mara, Nolari Mara is a private safari camp made for those who want to experience the wild in its purest form. With a beautiful tent, you’ll have the entire camp to yourself — complete with a private deck, sweeping views, and the sounds of nature all around you. The rate includes full board. We do have a self catering rate available at $300 per night. Please get in touch to find out more. The space Our main tent has been designed with comfort in mind. The tent is based on 2 adults with 2 children 13 and under. You’ll rest on a comfortable king size bed, with additional single beds optional in a room next to the tent, or they can be moved to the main tent if you like. Baby cots are also available. The en-suite bathroom has hot water and plenty of space. The tent sits on a deck that gives you uninterrupted views of the Masai Mara, and we have a powerful telescope you can use to see all the wildlife below. Sit and relax, watch animals wander past, enjoy a drink, and watch the stars come out. We do have a second tent available should you wish to come with family and friends, listed here on airbnb, or reach out for more information. Near the tent is our living and dining room. Beautifully crafted and decorated, come dine and rest, sit by the fireplace, or sit on the deck outside to take in the last of the days light as it hits the savannah below. We also have a projector and screen should you wish to watch a movie under the evening stars. As we include full board for our guests, we have a world class chef on site who loves to cook. He makes the most incredible breakfasts. Lunch and dinner are 3 course spectacles with a view! If you want a meal in the bush, we can pack one for you. Prior to your arrival we will discuss any dietary requirements and make sure you are well looked after. All our ingredients are fresh and wherever possible locally sourced. Snacks and soft drinks are included, and we have a small bar available to purchase alcohol. You’ll be attended to by our wonderful staff who will take care of you as much or as little as you’d like, whether it’s guided walks or setting up campfires and the projector for an evening movie. If you need assistance in organising anything whilst here, let us know. The rate is based on self drive, and includes the conservation fee for the private reserve we are in. There are two ways to reach us by road. The direct way is a 6 hour drive from Nairobi, driving past Narok and taking the C13 all the way. But our preferred route is to transit through the Masai Mara National Park and come out at Oloololo Gate. That way you can make a day of it, taking your time, and game drive on the way to our camp. Or if you want to just transit through the park and come straight to Nolari, get in touch and we can help and advise how best to do this. You can fly to us from most parts of Kenya. We have an airstrip 20 minutes from the camp (Kichwa Tembo Airstrip), and we can arrange pick up and drop offs for a fee, approx $70/9,000Ksh one way. If you prefer to fly we can also arrange a car and driver should you want to do game drives whilst in camp. Our package for this is $170/22,000Ksh per day, and includes fuel, driver and car fee in the park, and we’ll pack you food for the day. If you’d rather avoid driving yourself, and would like a driver with Landcruiser to bring you down, stay with you for game drives during your stay, get in touch and we can put a package together for you. If you want to organise your own car and driver, and need a place for your driver to stay, please reach out. We have access to accommodation and food for them for a small fee. Although you may be looking to disconnect, incase you need Wi-Fi, we have reliable fast internet available. Guest access You'll have access to every part of the grounds, which has amazing viewpoints and hikes. We have staff available who can take you around. Other things to note This is an off-grid experience with solar power, hot showers, and comfortable amenities — but the real luxury here is the space, the silence, and the wild beauty just beyond your doorstep.
