Big Brown Tent Site 2
Big Brown Tent Site 2
Description
Sitting on top of the ridge at the “Kind of Wild Homestead” are three Big Brown Tents. These custom made campsites are sweet little escapes equipped with everything you need for a laid back camping trip. Pull in, kick back, and enjoy the mountains. The space Nestled just minutes north of the NRG Bridge and Fayetteville, our campsite is private and very conveniently located for all the adventures that await! The rest of the property is our budding homestead with a big fern garden and a few half finished projects. This is our whole heart, we hope guests love our wild and wonderful experience! Guest access While this listing offers a fully set up campsite, it’s important to note this is not a traditional campground. You’re staying on a work-in-progress Homestead being built by a young family, carving out a life in the mountains, one day at a time. We’re continually improving the land and experience, but things are still a bit rustic. The driveway is gravel and currently requires a vehicle with 4WD or AWD to access safely. There’s no shower house, but we do provide a clean regularly maintained Porta potty and trash receptacle. We welcome guests who appreciate nature, simplicity, and the charm of things still being built. Firewood Rules: You are welcome to gather small sticks and kindling from the forest floor for your campfire but please don’t remove any large logs or cut anything that is standing. Many of the downed logs are placed intentionally to support, mushrooms, moss, and forest regeneration. Need more than twigs? We offer firewood for sale at just $.50 per piece. Other things to note Driveway: The road to the campsite is a steep gravel driveway and we strongly recommend a vehicle with four wheel or all wheel drive to access it safely. Bathroom: Reminder — There is no bath house on the property. Just a clean regularly maintained porta potty. Property Boundaries: Please be respectful of our neighbors and stay within the boundaries of our Homestead. Please do not approach or feed animals on the neighboring farm. Pets: Remember, we are a working Homestead with free ranging chickens. If you’re bringing a pet, please keep them leashed and restrained at all times to protect both your animal and ours. Farm fresh eggs: We sell fresh eggs right from our flock for $.50 each. They’re unwashed and do not require refrigeration. Just let us know if you’d like some during your stay. Quiet hours: We’re pretty relaxed when it comes to quiet hours just be mindful and respectful of those around you.
