It’s not uncommon to see deer grazing nearby, sometimes with their adorable fawns in tow. In the evenings, you might hear the gentle chorus of frogs as night settles in. These moments add to the charm of your stay and make for delightful, unexpected encounters. If you enjoy exploring, there are beautiful trails and open areas to hike. But please be aware — this is true native California land, which means you may also be sharing space with some of its natural inhabitants, including the native California rattlesnake. They’re generally not aggressive, but it's always best to be cautious. Safety Tip: If you're walking through grassy or rocky areas where visibility is limited, we recommend bringing a hiking stick and staying aware of your surroundings. It’s a simple way to stay safe while enjoying the beauty of the landscape. We hope you enjoy your time here — relax, explore, and let the natural setting bring you peace and inspiration.
