Surrounded by park, pond, orchard & small woods, the apartment is located in the listed manor house on the edge of the dreamy Brookhusen. Lovingly restored and comfortably furnished with real antiques, it is perfect for cozy moments for two in the historic walls, natural stays in rural idyll or an ideal starting point for eventful excursions in the middle of one of the most popular holiday regions in Germany in the hinterland of the Baltic Sea near the Hanseatic city of Rostock. The space The listed manor house Brookhusen looks back on a 750-year history, which partly reads like a historical thriller (more on this on our website). When we saved it from demolition in 2010 as a newly married couple by buying it from the municipality, we had no idea what was ahead of us - the adventure of a 15-year private monument rescue... Now we are finally ready to offer our dream, unique apartments at a charming price for guests who appreciate authentic, lovingly restored historical ambience. Accordingly, from the living room and bedroom to the kitchen and bathroom, all five apartments (each for 2 - 6 people from 45 - 104 m²) are furnished with real antiques. The only downside is that the apartments are therefore unsuitable for children or those under the age of 16. But stylishly antique furnished and harmonious in detail, you will immediately be transported back to the good old days, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in rural Mecklenburg idyll. Enchanting days with the living experience as in the 19th century, including nostalgic flair and a stately touch, are guaranteed without having to sacrifice modern living comforts.
