Rural accommodation on a farm for the big family! The space Welcome to the guesthouse on our farm and market garden just outside Mjölby, a few kilometers from the E4! Close to Vadstena, Skogssjön, Omberg and the bird lake Tåkern! 20 minutes to Linköping, where you will find Gamla Linköping and the Air Force Museum, which are popular tourist destinations. 1 hour to Kolmården Zoo and 1.5 hours to Astrid Lindgren's World. Visingsö, Gränna and its lollipops are about 45 minutes away. On the farm, there are several large greenhouses, and we hosts live in the house next to the farmhouse and work in the business year-round. There are also four horses, seven sheep with lambs, a few rabbits, about fifty free-range chickens, two dogs and two farm cats. About the farmhouse: The house was built in 1920 and is 100 sqm. It was originally a workers' residence for the gardeners who worked on the farm during the season. All the rooms are in a row, and we rent out the entire upstairs. Bedroom 1: continental bed, 210 cm wide. Children's bed/trundle bed 80x200 cm (maximum 100 kg). Baby crib available on request. Bedroom 2: Two freestanding single beds, one 90 cm and one 80 cm. In this room, there are also some toys, games and books for children. Bedroom 3: continental bed, 160 cm wide. Dresser. Bedroom 2 and 3 are located in a row in one part of the house. Bedroom 1 is located at the other end of the house. In between are the kitchen, bathroom and common areas. Kitchen: Spacious kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker and kettle. Bathroom: Tiled bathroom with washing machine and large shower cabin. Living/dining room: open plan with corner sofa and armchair, TV with Wi-Fi and DVD player. Dining table with six chairs. There are also two high chairs, one for babies and one for toddlers. Garden/patio: The garden of the farmhouse is on two levels. Exit to the upper level from the living/dining room. The upper level is protected by bushes, and there are tables and chairs, a barbecue, and raised beds with herbs, tomatoes, strawberries, and wild strawberries. Feel free to enjoy what's in the raised garden beds at the guest house! The lower part of the garden consists of a lawn, pots with plants, a trampoline (used at your own risk), a smaller sandbox, a long table and benches, and two sun beds. Other good things to know about the farm/us: Our family consists of Sofia, Joachim, and our four-year-old son. The farm stand is open from March to early July and from September to December. Then there is hustle and bustle on the farm, and we are a popular destination for families with children and those interested in gardening. In between, we are closed and it is quiet. We also have a small boat with a berth in fantastic Vadstena (20 minutes from the farm) that you are welcome to borrow. We also use the boat a lot, but just let us know when you want to use it! Fishing rods and life vests are available. The boat must be booked in advance, as we need to be there to provide instructions on site. When booking three nights or more, bed linens and towels are included. For fewer nights, there is an extra charge of SEK 200/person for this.
