The space This listing includes the main floor of a sunny, spacious heritage home with 9.5-foot ceilings and a blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. There’s a private bedroom with a queen bed, a cozy front sitting room with an L-shaped sofa, and a bathroom featuring a clawfoot tub and shower. A large, open kitchen and dining area sits at the heart of the home, with a small office setup and plenty of space to cook, create, or unwind. Laundry is available in the front hall. Guests are welcome to access the upstairs, which includes a second washroom and two bright, unfurnished rooms, perfect for yoga, meditation, or creative flow. These rooms aren’t furnished yet but are peaceful and full of natural light. Outside, the fully fenced backyard is a highlight: a mix of mature trees, colourful gardens, and a wide lawn that gently slopes down to the river. The river itself is calm, quiet, and inviting—perfect for sitting beside with a journal, a book, or a cup of tea. The water is a very calm river (but there is no riverfront category). Guest access You can use the entire space! I have put my belongings in an upstairs room and out of your way so you can fully move in and feel at home. There is a sonos speaker you can connect to, and a projector and apple tv available. The home has access via the back door with a key code. Other things to note It is a house, so there are house things that need doing, such as putting out garbage and recycling on garbage day. There is a calendar and it will be clear what day to put the garbage out. This will be covered in the welcome manual. Other things are requested like, don't leave all the lights on while you're out, or the furnace on while windows are open etc. Common sense things.
