Beautiful, Historic Family Home near Lake Merritt

Our lovely, remodeled 1929 home has front and back gardens with fruit trees, vaulted ceilings, a fire place and built-ins, including a sitting desk for quiet contemplation. The home is a perfect home base for all things in the Bay Area, with a 5 minute drive to Lake Merritt restaurants and Bart, and a 20 minutes drive (without traffic) to San Francisco. This has been a family home where we raised our toddler so there's a lot to offer families including toys and a sandbox. Close to Coliseum too. The space This is a 2 bedroom home with a 3rd bonus basement room with it's own entrance downstairs. There is laundry, a kitchen nook, herbal garden for sitting and watching the flowers, off-street parking, and a beautiful remodeled kitchen. We loved living here with close access to Dimond park or Lake Merritt and easy drive to anywhere in the Bay. For summer 2021, there is some minor landscaping happening in the back yard so we are offering a discounted rate! The work will not interfere with your stay. Guest access Entire home and front and back yard. Parts of the backyard are used by the other unit in the back yard. Other things to note The downstairs room (what we used as a 3rd bedroom) has no central heating but there is a space heater.
