Description
Due to outgoings the minimum nights we can let are 4. Lime Cottage is a grade II listed mid 17th century built property positioned in the centre of Stogursey, an historic conservation village. Within the Village there is plenty of history to explore including the 11th century Stogursey Castle ruins complete with moat, the church dating in places to 1117 and the usable fresh water spring. There is a Spar shop, Greyhound Pub, newsagent, medieval damaged cross, ancient spring. The space Lime Cottage has two through linked bedrooms, If the stairs are too much of a challenge there is a John Lewis sofa bed in the front room. The thatch, low ceilings, door frames and open stonework reflect a near 400 year old building. The inglenook fireplace contains an electric heater for ease of use. There are wall radiators in all rooms. Guest access The first parking space on the left as you pull in to the property is for Lime Cottage only. There is a key safe by the rear kitchen door, we tend to only use this door for access. There is a key by the front door for use in emergency. Other things to note Please flush the loo on entering and leaving and much in between. Unfortunately the very old sewerage pipes have a shallow run off. We say flush small and often to avoid a blockage. Many thanks for your understanding.
