Welcome to our guest room, located in a quiet and green setting, ideal for a relaxing getaway in the heart of the Thiérache. A perfect blend of comfort and simplicity, with amenities to make your stay pleasant. You can enjoy a moment of relaxation by our pool or a getaway to explore the area! We are committed to preserving our beautiful farmhouse for the long term and look forward to sharing it with you! The space We welcome you to our house, with the guest room upstairs. This spacious 25m2 room is bright and has a splendid view of the Thiérachian countryside. This room can accommodate 4 people: it is equipped with a 140 cm bed and a large sofa bed. The room opens onto a large lobby, with TV corner and desk area. From this lobby you will have access to the bathroom and toilet (separate). Our house was built around the 1920s, it is an old farmhouse that we are committed to preserving. In front of the house, an orchard and at the back, a magnificent wooded park where you can rest! Included services: • Linens and towels (remember to bring your pool towels!) • Access to garden and terrace to relax alfresco • Private car park • Adult bike loan • Ping pong table, golf set, boules game • Board games – book corner - TV corner • Swimming pool access during pool opening season • Pets not allowed - Breakfasts included with reservation the day before ( coffee/tea/milk/bread/butter/homemade cake/seasonal fruit, if there is any!) NOT INCLUDED: Booking a dinner together ( the day before ) with local produce. Location: Our bed and breakfast is in the heart of La Thiérache. When visiting our beautiful region, you can discover the green landscapes of the Thiérache, its typical villages and its rich heritage, including fortified churches, local museums, hiking trails and cycling routes (the Scandibérique etc... guide at your disposal on the bike routes in Hauts de France). The area is also known for its gastronomic specialties, which you can enjoy in the restaurants in the area. During your stay Someone will always be on-site and available to help! Other things to note We are committed to sustainable development and are therefore sensitive to waste sorting. We have a compost (which is used for our vegetable garden), and chickens for our food waste ;-). We have solar panels and try to be economical with our energy costs. We collect rainwater for our watering.
