Idyllically positioned above Verey Books, in the heart of the rural village of Pooley Bridge, you’ll find our delightful three-bedroom apartment. Enjoying close proximity to the glistening waters of Ullswater and nestled amongst the spectacular landscape of the Lake District National Park, this is an excellent base for a small family or group of friends seeking an outdoor adventure. The space Our flat is the perfect base for your adventures in the Lakes. After a hard day out kick off your boots and freshen up your walking attire in the handy washer/dryer as you step inside your new home-from-home, making yourself at home with a sumptuous seat in front of the television following an adventure-filled day. Uncork a bottle of wine and indulge in a well deserved drink with a seat at the elegant breakfast bar, while the designated chef utilises the fantastic range of amenities provided to rustle up a hearty meal. Recount the day’s adventures as you tuck-in with your loved ones before moving through the property to pour in the bubbles and indulge in a blissful soak in the bathroom with a good book in hand. Bedrooms Main- a super-king-size benefiting from it’s own en-suite Double- a double bedroom with views to the fells Small bunk room with a double bed and single over. Please note this third bedroom is ideal for teenagers/children, due to the beds being 190cm in length it may be unsuitable for adults. Parking: there’s street parking opposite flat. But during daytime hours (9am to 5pm) limited to 2hrs we provide disks for this. We also provide 2 free parking permits for ‘ Paul’s field’ parking which is behind sun inn 50m from flat. Guest access Access is via side door next to shop. Found behind wooden gate. There is a key safe next to door which we'll give you access to near arrival Please note there is a flight of stairs to reach the flat, there is a hand rail. Other things to note Linen and towels provided- We allow 1 well behaved dog (who knows they might become dog of the week at the bookshop!) We please ask you don't allow them to bark lots during shop hours as this can be heard in shop below. We have put 4 as maximum guests as although 3 bedrooms this is a relatively small space. We could consider 4 adults plus 1-2 children but would need you to discuss with us prior to booking, in terms of managing noise transmission during shop (below) opening hours.
