Welcome to your hidden river retreat farmstay in Koru, Taranaki! Built by well known Taranaki builder and developer Willie Stills in 1978, this house boast views of the coastline, the Kaitake ranges, and views of Mount Taranaki on a clear sunny day. Private bush walk or a river dip in our private swimming hole, it’s only a walk away. Animal therapy - feed & cuddle the sheep, fishes, or chickens & say hi to Paul the peacock! 10mins to Ōakura village, 20mins to New Plymouth centre & amenities. The space We have a total of 2 double beds, with one in a private bedroom, and 1 other double bed in the lounge studio (open concept) and a pullout double sofa bed for kids or extra guests. Maximum of 6 pax including kids can fit comfortably. Separate toilet & bathroom ensures no one is fighting over usage. Guest access The entire Airbnb on ground level will be yours including the front lawn. You are welcome to explore the forest and take a dip in our river swimming hole on a fine weather day. Other things to note Not suitable for loud parties as we enjoy peaceful living upstairs. Families with children are most welcome, as we have games available in the lounge as well.
